A few things to know before your next chapter.
What do I get per credit?
A story passage, continuation or AI edit costs 1 credit. An illustration costs 5 credits. You can mix writing and pictures however you like. See all credit costs.
Do unused monthly credits roll over?
No. Premium credits refill each month, and unused monthly credits expire at the next refill. Yearly subscriptions also receive their credits month by month.
Can I buy more credits?
Yes. Credit packs are available to signed-in accounts, so you can top up without changing your subscription. Choose a pack above when you need more.
Do purchased credits expire?
Purchased credits never expire. We use your monthly credits first, then bonus credits, then purchased credits.
Can I change my billing period?
Yes. If you already subscribe, choose Premium above to open the billing portal and review your options.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel in the billing portal. If you already subscribe, choose Premium above to open it. You keep your paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
What happens to my stories if I cancel?
Your saved stories stay in your account. Your monthly Premium credit allowance ends when your paid period finishes. Purchased credits stay available.
Are my stories private?
Your saved writing belongs to your account. Other users cannot browse your private stories. You choose what to export and share.
How are payments handled?
Stripe handles checkout and billing. Your card details never touch our servers. You can manage payment methods and invoices in the billing portal.
